Week 84

Hello all....

March 21

Today was good. We helped move the sisters in our district into their apartment then went about normal pday activities. We didn't go to the church because nobody was going to be there so I played a lot of guitar. We made visits all night. 

March 22

We made visits all afternoon. We had dinner with Sister Guthrie and Bill Franke. We made visits to end the night. 

March 23

We did some geocoding. We made visits all afternoon afterwards. Our dinner appointment didn't confirm or answer the door so we ate at Taco Bell. We taught Bill which went alright then made some visits to end the night. 

March 24

Today was good. We had zone conference/ interviews which went well. We made a couple visits before having dinner with the Taylor's which was good. We made a couple visits before sharing #SeekAndServe with Bishop Abbott and his family!

March 25

Today was good. We did our weekly planning. We made a couple visits before having dinner with Sister Freitas and her husband. We then went to the new move in member social which was good but it made me too full haha! We then shared #SeekAndServe with the Bañuelos family to end the night. 

March 26

Today Elder Melsen and I coordinated zone leader stuff to get on the same page. We then went to a baptism with Bill Franke. We went to dinner at Culver's. We made some visits and then taught our new investigator Courtney who is pretty cool! 

March 27

Happy Easter everyone! Church was good but nothing out of the ordinary. We made some visits before having dinner at the Snyders! They had us participate in an Easter egg hunt with their kids which was a lot of fun haha! We made visits to end the night.

Week 83

Hello everyone!

March 14

Today was good. Before we went and shopped we helped someone give a blessing.  We went to the Peoria stake center and played basketball. We made some visits then shared #SeekAndServe with The Warnhoff's. We made a couple visits to end the night. 

March 15

Today was good. I was working on school stuff then we got called to give someone a blessing who only had a couple hours left so that was a little sad. We made some visits in the afternoon. We had dinner with the Anderson's. We made some visits before our lesson with the Bañuelos family but our priesthood holder forgot and had gone to the temple so we rescheduled. 

March 16

Today was good. We taught Faye which was frustrating. We had dinner with the Greers. We taught Bill Franke which was frustrating. We then shared #SeekAndServe with the Richardson's. 

March 17

Today was good. We had weekly planning. We had dinner with the Smiths and taught one of his co workers. We then shared #SeekAndServe with the Mascovich's to end the night. 

March 18

We had district meeting which was not my favorite but it's all good. We made some visits before having dinner with the Goodsell's. We media visits before sharing a message with the Bañuelos family to end the night. 

March 19
Today was good. Our lesson with the Allen's and Courtney cancelled. We made visits before having dinner with the Clouds. We made visits all night. 

March 20

Today was good. Bill, Faye, and John were at church. My talk went really well! We had dinner with Sister Buttars. We made visits all night because Tony rescheduled with us.

Week 82

March 7
Today was a really lame pday. We taught the Warnhoff's. We made a couple of visits to end the night. The Assistants and President Griffin, with assignment from Elder Arnold, the general authority, assigned me to lead an hour and a half discussion at mission tour with all the missionaries not in leadership assignments.... And uh it's in two days so you could say I'm freaking out a little bit.

March 8

Today was weird. I took a long time to prepare for my discussion. Made a sweet presentation! We had dinner with the Agren's. We had coordination and then made a couple visits to end the night. 

March 9

Today was interesting. We had mission tour. My discussion went really well but I wasn't too happy with the Assistants or Elder Arnold in connection with it. I wasn't really impressed by Elder Arnold or the entire meeting. We had dinner with Sister Colleen Barton and she knows Grandma and Grandpa and taught Craig in high school! We made visits all night. 

March 10

Today was good. We did weekly planning as usual. We had dinner at the Heaton's. We taught Bill Franke which went ok then we made some visits to end the night. 

March 11

Today was good. I worked on school stuff. We made visits before having dinner with the Kannarrs. We gave a less active Sister a blessing then made visits the rest of the night. 

March 12

Today was good. We visited with Brother McDonald. We taught Brother Allen. We had dinner with Bishop and Sister Smith. We made visits to end the night. 

March 13

Today was good but tiring. We had early morning Ward Council for Rose Valley Ward then I went with Brother Heaton to Sun City Ward Council. Faye and John Allen were at church. We went with Brother McRae to visit Sister Delong. We had dinner with the Montgomery's who are really cool! We taught Tony Deluca to end the night which went well.

Week 81

Hello everyone!

February 29

Happy leap day! Today was good. We went and played volleyball and basketball with a ton of the missionaries. We had dinner with the Van Attas. We had a lesson fall through so we made visits all night.  

March 1 

Today was good. We worked on school stuff and ward mission plan. We had dinner at some restaurant which was alright. We had coordination. Then we had splits where I taught the Bañuelo family. Got to teach a little in Spanish! 

March 2

Today was good. We worked on ward mission plan stuff. We taught Faye. We had dinner with the Genchi's. We taught Bill Franke which went alright. We visited the Anderson's to end the night. 

March 3 

Today really sucked. We moved all day. From 6:30 to dinner and after our meeting with the Elders Quorum then we moved until 10:30 and were not done. 

March 4
Today was a similar day to yesterday. We moved until zone meeting which was ok. We had dinner with the Stoddard's. We cleaned up the apartment to make it presentable and livable to end the night. 

March 5

Today we did weekly planning. We taught the Allen's. We had dinner with the Timmerman's which was good. We made visits all night. 

March 6

Church was good today. Bill, Brother Allen, and Faye were at church. We had coordination after church. We had dinner at the apartment. We made some visits before sharing #SeekAndServe with the Anderson's to end the night!
