Week 80

Greetings from Peoria North!!!

February 23
Today was good. Transfers landed me in Peoria North it looks like. We played volleyball after packing. We had a pick up dinner from sister Barrier. We had a visit with Alvah didn't end being a lesson. Then we visited people saying goodbye. 

February 24

Today was good. Transfers placed me in Peoria North. The zone has a lot of missionaries I know so it's gonna be a blast. My companion is Elder Zitting from Tennessee. We had a lesson with the Allens. We had dinner with Brundage family. We taught Sister Guthrie and Bill Frankie. We visited Bishop and Sister Smith to end the night. 

February 25

Today was good. We went shopping. We cleaned up the house a bit. We did our weekly planning session. We had dinner with Sister Engman. We then headed  to Delaney's baptism which went really well! Already miss the ward! We got back and we went on a couple visits with Brother McRae. 

February 26

Today we had district meeting. We had lunch then worked on our initiative which is really exciting! We had dinner with the Hughes. We visited auxiliaries all night and the Darrow family is going help us with the armor for our initiative! Liking the area and Elder Zitting so far!

February 27

Today was good. We helped a member move in to the ward. We the. Went to Alice's baptism which went really well! We had dinner with the Tankersley family. We made visits all night. 

February 28

Today was good. Bill and Faye came to church. We had dinner with the Browns. We made visits all night.

Week 79

Greetings from Arizona!

February 15

Today was a good pday. We had zone activity where we played some games. We had FHE which was good. We taught Alice to end the night.

February 16

Today was good. We went with the south district to a service project cleaning a man and women's shelter. We made a couple visits before having dinner with the Thomas family which was good. Our lesson with Tina fell through. We taught Delaney to end the night.   

February 17

Today was good. We made visits in the afternoon until our lesson with the Osters. We had dinner with the West's. We had a good coordination then we visited James and Jacob to end the night. 

February 18

Today was good we did our weekly planning. We made an ad for FHE. We had a pick up dinner from the Jackson's. We had Delaney's baptismal interview which went well. We had to move Desiree to tomorrow because Brother Wood's ended up not being home. 

February 19

Today was good. After lunch we headed to the practice for the musical fireside on Sunday. We had dinner with Bishop and Sister Hughes. We had our lesson with Nick and Pete fall through. We taught Desiree to end the night. 

February 20

Today was good. We had district meeting. We had Alice's baptismal interview and she passed! We set up for the high priest social we were performing at. We had dinner with the Hansen's. We then went to the high priest social and played a bunch of songs for them and it was a blast. Bob Robinson went through the temple today and said it was the best day of his life which made me so happy!

February 21

Today was really good. Alice, Alvah, Desiree, and Delaney were at church. We taught Shay. We had dinner with the Lunt's and then we headed to the musical fireside which was a blast and turned out really well!

February 22

Today was good. We went with Elder Green and Fullmer to do service all afternoon. We had dinner at the apartment. We went to FHE and then made a couple of visits to end the night.

Week 78

Hello all,

February 8

Today was good! Normal pday volleyball! We went to FHE then we had a good lesson with Alice to end the night!

February 9

Today was pretty crazy! We set up the rooms for interviews. We had interviews which went really good! I love President Griffin and learn so much from him he's the best! Our lesson with Wendy rescheduled as well as Tina. Dinner cancelled on us. We taught Desiree and our lesson with Robert and Samantha fell through so we checked on Elder Davis because he's been sick to end the night. Elder Parkinson emailed me and let me know Travis Grantham from Williams is getting baptized on the 21!!! I'm so excited won't be able to go though but I'll make it back for their sealing hopefully next year!

February 10

Today was good and bad. We shared a message with a Ysa member Jeremy. We made some visits before teaching the Oster's who are less actives. We had dinner at our apartment because our appointment cancelled. We then went to the church to meet with Chance. I had to leave the lesson to go to coordination down the hall. Afterwards I  rejoined the lesson which went until 9. It was one of the most depressing lessons I've been a part of because Chance is so far into anti Mormon doctrine that there is no way to help him see the truth even though he is on of the most brilliant kids I have met. Mosiah 25:11 has never meant so much to me as it does now. 

February 11

Today was good. We had lunch with Aaron Gidwani. We did weekly planning and the stake coordination report. We had dinner with the Blacks. We had splits where we made some visits. We had to reschedule on sister Dutey because our member couldn't come. 

February 12

Today was good. We went to both district meetings which were alright. We got back and then headed to dinner with the Schaubs! We had our lesson with Nick fall through then we taught Alice to end the night. 

February 13

Today was good. We helped clean the church. We did studies. We went to the auto shop for our oil change which took a lot time. We had dinner with the Benda's. We went over to the Huffs with Jason Sarah Lexi and Leah to share a message. We made a couple visits to end the night. 

February 14

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Today was good. Autumn, Alva, Athena, Ty, and Alice came to church. We taught Shay another new member lesson. We had dinner with the Donners. We had to reschedule with Alice. We visited with Nick and Pete to end the night.

Week 77

Greetings all,

February 1

Today was good. We went and explored a guitar shop and then hung out at the stake center. We made visits all night and set up a couple of appointments. 

February 2

Today was good! We made some visits before our zone leader Webex meeting which was as alright. We had dinner with the Vastbinder's. We taught Tina which went well and then we taught Desiree which also went well!

February 3

Today was good, we made visits until dinner with the Davis's. We had a good coordination meeting then we visited with a couple people at mutual and then visited the Baum's. 

February 4

Today was good. We had our usual weekly planning. We finished our advertisement for this Monday's FHE! We had dinner  a pick up dinner from the Newell's. We went on splits. Elder Balenacagi taught Alice and I taught Delaney. Both Lessons went well. We visited Alva to end the night. 

February 5

Today was really good! We went to both district meetings! We had dinner with Bishop and Sister Hughes. We taught Nick and Desiree to end the night. Then we exchanged with the Assistants so Elder Unasa is with me in my area!

February 6

Elder Unasa and I had a good day today! We helped the Obney's move. We made visits before having a pickup dinner from the Roatches. We made visits all night until exchange wrap-ups. 

February 7

Today was good! Alice, Desiree, and Ashli came to church. We had dinner with the Canova's. We made visits all night!

Week 76

Hello from Arizona!!!

January 25

Today was a blast! We played milk jug lacrosse and volleyball for zone activity! We had the spiritual thought that we shared for FHE last week because the bishopric wanted us to share it for more people which went well! We made a couple visits to end the night then Elder B taught me a song in Fijian that we might start singing for people!

January 26

Today was good. We made visits all Afternoon. We had dinner with the Cleverly's. We had our lesson with Tina reschedule. We had a really good lesson with Desiree then we exchanged with Monte vista so I am with Elder Benolerao in their area! Mi Español traer  mucho éxito!

January 27

Today was good. We shared a message with one of their members and made visits in the afternoon. Dinner was dropped off at the church. We taught two of their investigators in the evening. I felt like a mute all day haha!

January 28

Today was good. We had zone conference which was awesome! It was sweet to see Elder Miller! We had a pickup dinner from sister Barrier. We had splits and I taught Delaney and we made some visits to end the night. 

January 29

Today was really good! We had breakfast with Bishop Hughes! We had a good weekly planning session. We had dinner with the Squires which was really good! We went over to Bishop Hughes to give sister Hughes and Bishops mom a blessing before going to teach Desiree which went well! 

January 30

Today was a blast we had the elders quorum BBQ where we played beach volleyball! We visited the Chancey's. We had dinner with the Stouts. We taught Nick. We had to reschedule on Alice and then made some visits. 

January 31

Today was good! Alice, Desiree, Tina and Athena were at church. We had dinner with the Donner's where we sang our Fijian song!!! We taught Shay and then taught our new referral Wendy!
