Week 70

December 14
Today was a good PDay. We didn't do anything special. We went to the stake center and played salt and pepper. We made visits all night and worked on the follow up email to the stake presidency for stake coordination.

December 15

Today was really good! We helped North mountain move. We made some visits before dinner with Brother Murray and his parents. We taught Desiree which went really well! We talked with Bishop about the baptism coming up before heading in. 

December 16

Today was awesome. We had our Christmas Conference. We went and did an endowment at the Mesa temple which was sweet. Then after lunch we toured the visitor center with some of their remodels from last year. Then we went out to a buffet before coming back to see the lights. It was a fun day! Tiring though!

December 17

Today was pretty good. We started by teaching the referral that came from the Mesa temple lights. His name is Quan. It was a really good lesson! After lunch we did weekly planning. We had a pickup dinner from  the Bahrs. We met with Alva couldn't really call it a lesson. We made visits to end the night.

December 18
Today was pretty good. We went as our district to a service project where we cleaned up a lot of debris and then weed whacked the entire yard. We made some visits before teaching Alice. We had dinner with the Bryson's and some of their friends. We taught Domonic's sons which was interesting. We then made sure everything was squared away for the baptism!

December 19

Shay's baptism went well today! We made some visits before picking up dinner from Sister Benda. Our lesson with the Bjelopetrovich's fell through and we had to reschedule with Desiree. We made visits all night.

December 20

Today was good! Shay's confirmation went well but we forgot to take any pictures at the baptism or after the confirmation. We had dinner with the Donner's which was really good! We taught Nick and set up his interview for Tuesday! We made some visits to end the night!

Week 69

Hello from Arizona!

December 7

Today was an average Pday. We took Elder Fullmer to the bike shop and then we played salt and pepper at the Stake Center. We made some visits before sharing our #PrayInvite Christmas message with the Degomez family to end the night!

December 8

Today was pretty crappy. MLC was really lame. Sister Jackson forgot that we had dinner so we ate at our apartment. We had three lessons in the evening that all fell through. One good thing was that I got 29 gigabytes of talks and devotional a from Elder Jensen!

December 9

Today was pretty good. We met with the District Leaders to coordinate Zone Meeting. We had to reschedule Brother Murray. We picked up dinner from Sister Barrier. We had a good coordination then taught Desiree to end the night!

December 10

Today was interesting. We had weekly planning. We had dinner with the Rajes where we talked with Julio for forty minutes before he left so we could eat. We taught Alva which went well then Kim cancelled. 

December 11

Today was pretty good. Zone Meeting went well even Elder B and my musical number! We had dinner with the Billy's. We taught Nick and then we went to Sister Simon's to advertise for our Christmas breakfast and dinner!

December 12

Today was good! We went to the YSA breakfast which was really good! We helped the family ward set up for their Christmas dinner. We worked on the stake report for coordination tomorrow. We had dinner at the Christmas party which was a good time!

December 13

Very early morning to finish the stake reports. Stake coordination went well. Church was good. Alice, Desiree, Nick, and Shea came to church. Shea passed her baptismal interview and is on track for baptism on Dec. 19! We had dinner with the Villareal's which was good. We then went to the Stake Christmas devotional which was pretty boring but it was a nice way to end the evening.

Week 68

Hello everyone!

December 1

Today was a good relaxing Pday! We hung out with the Spanish Elders and did the usual ball! Shawbutte had lessons all night so we were pretty booked. One canceled, so we went to Kamana Wanas Hawaiian ice which was pretty good!

December 2

Today was a long but good day! We had transfers which was awesome! I didn't get the Companion I was expecting but I was still super happy! I am with Elder Balenacagi. Good luck pronouncing that!  Elder B is from Fiji and been out 14 months.  He is a really good guitar player and is a really chill guy. I am a stand alone Zone Leader with Elder Green as my fellow Zone Leader. We had dinner with the Adamson's which was good. We had a good coordination then visited the Donner's before grabbing all my stuff from Sister Simons house!

December 3

Today was interesting but good! We helped Jason Willet move a bunch of furniture out of his house. We had weekly planning where we finished our #PrayInvite Christmas style signs! We had dinner with the Marcotte's! We taught Jaun and then Leah to prepare her for her baptism on Saturday!

December 4

Today was Pretty good. We went to both District Meetings which were good. We had dinner with the Bowler family. Sister Dutey canceled. We taught Nick Bjelopetrovich and he is planning on being baptized on the 27th! We introduced Elder B to the Canova's to end the night. 

December 5

Today was awesome! We prepared the Church for Leah's baptism and the baptism itself was awesome! I was worried about the musical number but Elder B and I did well! Jason took us to lunch at Lenny's which was good! We helped Shawbutte move one of their members. We made some visits before having dinner dropped off by the Johnson's. We taught Makaila Chalihah and then taught Alice. We then went to the church with some of the Auxillaries and ward missionaries to open a fast for missionary work which was awesome! 

December 6

Today was very eventful. Leah's confirmation went well! We taught Shea Barazza and then Desiree! Desiree has now gone a month without smoking! We broke our fast with the Donner's which was really good! We watched the Christmas devotional at Bishop Stevens house with a lot of the YSA members. We then went with Braden to visit a coworker of his at hospital and we ended up giving her a priesthood blessing which was really cool!

Week 67

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!

November 23

Today we had zone activity where we went to castles and coasters to mini golf. I thought the holes were pretty lame but it was still a good time. We made visits before FHE. We got volunteered to give the spiritual thought. We then met with brother Canova to discuss the flow chart that we have been trained on as well as the stake presidency concerning ward councils and coordination. 

November 24

Today was good. We did our weekly planning. We made visits before dinner with the Newell's. We taught Alice and Leah which went well. We then exchanged with North Mountain. I am in North mountain with a Elder Parker. 

November 25

Today was good. We did service for a part member family of theirs. We made visits until dinner with the Fishburns which was good. We made more visits before exchanging back. Looking forward to thanksgiving tomorrow!!!

November 26

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! It was really nice to relax today! We had lunch with a member of the moon valley ward who had the elders from our district over. We then ate at the Villareals! We hung out with Elder Green and Cross watching church movies the rest of the night! 

November 27

Today was a really good day. We helped Shawbutte move one of their members beds before going to lunch with them. I was out of it for both district meetings. We shipped Elder Young's bike home. We had dinner with the Blacks and share #PrayInvite. We taught Sister Dutey's daughter who turned nine so she's a new investigator afterwards we helped move three of sister Dutey's big couches. We taught Nick who will turn nine pretty soon. We then taught Leah to prepare her for her baptismal interview tomorrow! Her baptism is set for Saturday Dec. 5th! We are going to the temple bright and early tomorrow!  

November 28

Today was a long day! It started at 4:30am so we could go to the endowment session. Brother Murray took us and the Spanish Elders! We got back and helped clean the church. We helped North Mountain with their Christmas brunch advertisement. We had Desiree but she rescheduled. We had Leah's baptismal interview which went really well! We had dinner with the Canova's. We shared #PrayInvite with the Twiggs. We taught Makaila Chalihah to end the night. 

November 29

Today was good. We didn't have any morning meetings which was nice to be able to study. We had Alice, Chance, Ashli, and Leah at church. We had dinner with the Roatches. We taught Shay which went really well then we visited the Donner's for Elder Young to say goodbye. Tomorrow will be weird saying goodbye to a Elder Young! 

November 30

Today was pretty good. It was weird saying goodbye to Elder Young. We worked on making our #PrayInvite signs Christmas themed! We had dinner with the Huff's. We went to FHE then taught the Lish family the Christmas message. We then went and got everything together to stay at Shawbutte!

November 16

Today was pretty good we had district activity where we played volleyball and speedball. We didn't have any appointments so we made some visits and worked on going through the ward list to find part member families. 

November 17

Today was pretty good. We helped Elder Hawkins and Parker with a service project pulling weeds. We taught Desiree which went really well. We had a pick up dinner. Our appointment with Jacque fell through and we had to reschedule with Kara Brown. We taught Leah which also went well to end the night. 

November 18

Today our afternoon was filled with car conference which sucked in the aspect that we got black boxes but was awesome I. The aspect of things we were able to discuss and seeing mission buds! We had dinner with the Schaubs and then had coordination. We then shared #worthofsouls with Lexi which was awesome! 

November 19 

Today was really good! We had lunch with Ashli and her friend Drew and Jason. We had a good weekly planning session. We had dinner with the Cooks. We taught Alva Timmerman which was really long but good haha!

November 20

Today was pretty good! We helped the Spanish Elders with their Turkey bowl advertisement which was a lot of fun! We made some visits. We had dinner with the Taylor family and shared #PrayInvite! We had to reschedule on Leah because no guy was able to come. We taught Nick Bjelopetrovich to end the night which went well. 

November 21

Today was legit! We went and cleaned up a brick wall that had been destroyed with the Spanish Elders. We had lunch with Jeremy and Kali which included a crossbow!!! We taught Desiree which went really well she hasn't smoked in 5 days! We had dinner with the Canova's and then stake conference! Stake conference was awesome, it was all based on aspects of missionary work President Hettinger is the man and he said he was going to look into the social media fireside that we want to present to the stake!

November 22

Today was good but long. We went to the YSA stake conference today. I would have rather gone to the family stake but it was still good.  We made visits all afternoon. We had dinner with the Donner's. Randy Deckers lesson cancelled shocker. Then we taught Amber Shondee to end the night.

Week 65

November 9

Today was a pretty good day. We got called to give a blessing at the start of Pday. We hung out and played salt and pepper basketball and speed ball. We went to FHE and our video was quite the hit and bishop volunteered us to participate in the Olympic Games which was a good time. Then we taught Leah which went well. 

November 10

Today was pretty good. We worked on our advertisement for the turkey bowl. We made some visits. We had dinner with the Twigg's which was really good Mexican food. We had a lesson fall through with Jacque and then we exchanges pad with Shawbutte Elder Cross is with me in our area. 

November 11

Today was alright. We made a lot of follow up visits with our #prayinvite poster. We had dinner with the Mills which was really good. We exchanged back after dinner. We had coordination which was alright. We made some visits to end the night. 

November 12 

Today was alright. We had weekly planning. We had to reschedule with Sister Dutey because we couldn't find a guy. We had dinner at the relief society dinner which was good. We taught Leah which went well. We exchanged and I'm with Elder Unasa in his area. 

November 13

Today was pretty good! I was with Elder Unasa in his area. We taught one of their investigators Zack which was interesting.  We had district meeting which was good. We made some visits. We had dinner with a YSA girl Abby and her family which was interesting. We then went to a visit with the Updikes a part member family and they had a meal prepared for us so we ate with them as we talked and got to know them. The. We wrapped up exchanges and headed back. Elder Unasa is a really cool guy! I got to bench press for the first time since high school which was awesome! 

November 14

Today we helped move Desiree into the Wood's house. We made visits all afternoon and evening broken up with dinner with the Demarco's who are hilarious!

November 15

Today was good. We had Shay, Desiree, Alice, Leah, and Ashli at church. We taught Shay Barraza which went super well! We had dinner with the Anderson's which was good! We made visits all night.

Week 64

Hello all!!!

November 2

Today was pretty good. We chilled at the stake center played some salt and pepper and then chilled at sister Simons house. We had a lesson with Alice which was really frustrating. We went over tithing again and she understands it but doesn't have the faith to pay it for a long time. We were pretty bold with her and now she's not really a priority of ours. We made visits the rest of the night. 

November 3

Today was pretty good. MLC was good but it's gonna make for a stressful week preparing for zone meeting and stake coordination. We had dinner with the Vastbinders which was really good. We had lessons with Jacque and Desiree cancel. We taught Leah which was a super good lesson she was in tears a couple times. 

November 4

Today was an interesting day. We counseled with the District leaders and Sister training leaders on zone meeting. We had dinner with the Murray's who are a great family. We had a good coordination and extra meeting with bishop to discuss some things. We taught Ashli which went well but is also frustrating due to the lack of progression. 

November 5

Today was pretty good. We had weekly planning. Prepared for zone meeting and stake coordination. We had dinner dropped off by sister Largin. We then attended a part member families wedding and the Spanish elders helped us out by being a translator as the wife spoke little English and the husband speaks little Spanish. 

November 6

Today was good but long. We had zone meeting which went long. We had dinner with Bishop Hughes which was really good! We shared #worthofsouls with Jared. We made some visits and sent out the zone meeting email. 

November 7

Today was a pretty good day. We worked on and finished our advertisement for FHE this Monday. We had dinner with the Woods which was interesting. We made visits and had to cancel on Leah because we couldn't find a guy for the lesson.

November 8

Today was a weird day. It didn't feel like Sunday. We had early stake coordination which went well. We had state conference which was a broadcast to some other states as well. We got to hear from Elder Oaks. We made visits and did our advertisement for the relief society dinner. We had dinner with the Donners. We made visits all night including spending time talking with Tony Corrio who is crazy haha!

Week 63

Greetings all!!!

October 26
Today was pretty good. We hung out with Elder Green and Cross and played some volleyball. We had our lesson with Chance fall through. We didn't go to FHE because they went to a corn maze. We went to the Donner's and they helped us out with our advertisement for the trunk or treat! We then went to the Canova's to counsel about what we want to do for our station at the trunk or treat. 

October 27
Today we took Elder Chidester and Weeks to get a bike. We then went and picked up supplies for everyone. We got back and made visits before Sister Jackson dropped off dinner. We taught Jacque which went well our appointment with Desiree fell through. We taught Leah which also went well. 

October 28

Today was pretty good. We met with Elder Hawkins to discuss social media. We made some visits and then shared #prayinvite with Sister Barrier. We had an alright dinner with the Cleverly's. We had a good coordination. Our lesson with Meylia fell through. 

October 29

Today was a good day. We had to pick up a Elder Cross and Green's dry cleaning before district meeting. President Griffin came to the meeting which was awesome. He sent me an Elder Young out to pick up lunch for everybody which was crazy but fun. We had interviews with President which went well. We did some weekly planning before dinner with the Blacks. We went with Brother Canova to make some visits. We shared #worthofsouls with Amber Shondee to end the night. 

October 30

Today was pretty sweet! We chalked a lot of people's driveways from the ward. We taught Leah and shared #prayinvite with the Bryson's. We chilled at our apartment for dinner then went to the trunk or treat which was a blast and our cup game as super popular!

October 31

Happy Halloween everyone! Today was pretty legit! We helped clean the church. We helped the Archers move again! After dropping off Elder Chidester and Weeks we had dinner with the Roatche's who made tomb stone tater tots and mummy dogs! We then were free all night with no proselyting so we went to the church library and watched the living scriptures! Favorite one was Elijah, he's a stallion! 

November 1

Today was a pretty good day! We had Alice, Athena and Ashli at church. We taught Shay Barraza which went well. We had dinner with the Marcotte's which was delicious! We made visits all night because Amber Shondee rescheduled.

Week 62

Greetings all....

October 20

Today was pretty good. We hung out with all the elders one last time. We had a lesson with Jane Miller which went well had to cancel on Alice and then we went to Brother Butlers house to give him a blessing as he had asked for and he texted us while were arriving saying he didn't need a blessing so we went over to Shawbutte for the night. 

October 21 

Today was really good! We had a good transfer meeting which didn't go as we expected but good outcomes. We went shopping with Elder Cross and Green. We took a bike to Elder Weeks and Chidester. We went out to Chicago Gyros for dinner. We had a good coordination then had two lessons with Alice and with Chance which went really well! Six of the nine zones now have stand alone zone leaders!

October 22 

Today was a really good day! We met with both of the new district leaders to talk with them about our zone. We had a good weekly planning. Eddies the killer headache I got. We had dinner with the Bryson's before making some visits then teaching Leah again! Lesson went well then we saw on Facebook that the Archers needed help giving their kid a blessing so we went and helped out before heading in.  

 

October 23

Today we went to both district meetings which were good. We had dinner with the Squires. We picked up Elder Young's iPad from North mountain and taught Meylia then proceeded to get lost trying to find someone and finding our way back home to end the night. 

October 24

Today was a really early morning because we had to be in Avondale at 6:30 for the painting service project out mission was doing. The project went till noon and it was a good time. We got back and had Alice's Baptismal interview but we will most likely have to push back her date. We picked up dinner from the Canova's. We taught Desiree and Leah which both went well! 

October 25

Today was pretty good. We had Desiree, Ty, Athena, Ashli, and Leah at church. We taught Shay Barraza. We had dinner with the Donner's. We shared #worthofsouls with Amanda and her friend José. We made some visits to end the night.

Week 61

Greetings all!!!

October 12

Today was a pretty lame Pday. We hung out with the district and played some volleyball. We had our lesson with Chance cancel. We went to FHE then shared #prayinvite with the Canova's. 

October 13

Today was really rough. We didn't have much going on in the afternoon and both of us were going a little crazy. We picked up dinner from Sister Barrier then attended a stupid just serve meeting which really didn't seem to accomplish anything. Then we picked up some lists from Brother Rivera. 

October 14

Today was pretty good! We had Zone Conference which was awesome! After Zone Conference we exchanged with the Assistants so Elder Parkinson came to my area with me. Our dinner had to cancel so our dinner coordinator had made some calls and Sister Archer gave us a pick up meal. We dropped that off at the apartment because Elder Parkinson wanted to go out to eat so we went to chipotle. We had a good coordination. We taught Meylia which went well and then we exchanged back. 

October 15

Happy birthday dad! Today was a pretty good day! We had a good weekly planning. Our lesson with Ashli rescheduled. We had dinner with the Crapo's who are awesome! We had lessons with both Desiree and Alice which both went well! 

October 16

Today was pretty good. Elder Stott held District Meeting which was good. We had our lesson with Jacque fall through. We had dinner with the Roatches. We finally got to talk to Tony Corrio. We had a lesson with Jane Miller and then our lesson with Ashli fell through. We then exchange with Elder Wells and Miller! I am with Elder Miller in the Spanish area!

October 17

Today was a really fun day! I really love Elder Miller and he is a great kid with a lot of potential! We helped move one of our former investigators. We had dinner at Los Reys De La Torta which was really good and we had some lessons cancel but we did have a lesson with Jesus Ledezma before exchanging back!

October 18

Today was really good! We had Desiree, Alice, Ty, Shea, Ashli, and Laura at church! Brother Lish took me to home teach Nathan and Shea Barraza which resulted in her wanting to take the missionary lessons! We had dinner at the Woods. We shared #prayinvite with Brother Murray! We visited President Demeester to end the night! Also I forgot to include this in last weeks letter but thank the Heitellas for sending me a package!

October 19

Today was really good! We had two investigator lessons fall through. We had housing inspections and also worked on some solutions for transfers for President Griffin. We picked up dinner from Sister Barrier. We taught Desiree and went to FHE before teaching Laura. Laura's lesson went really well the spirit was super strong!

Week 60

Hello all!!

October 5
Today was a pretty lame P-day an ingrown toenail was acting up today so I didn't get to ball like I wanted to so we just hung out at sister Simon's. We went to FHE and made visits all night. 

October 6

Today was really interesting. MLC was terrible and really just got on Elder Young and my nerves. We got back and Aaron Gidwani had to cancel dinner. We had three member presents cancel because of health problems. We taught Jane Miller. And then we helped out Elder Nicholson and Cross. I went with Cross to give a blessing while Nicholson stayed in because he is sick. 

October 7

Today we counseled with the District Leaders how Zone Meeting should go which was good. We had dinner with the Huff's. We had a good coordination and then made visits the rest of the evening. 

October 8

Today was a pretty good day. We worked on our Zone Meeting skits with Elder Nicholson and Stott. We had dinner with the Twiggs and then picked up the cord for iPad to TV from brother Morris. We had our lesson with Judie fall through but had a really good lesson with Alice before heading in. 

October 9

Today was really good. We had Zone Meeting which went really well! Multiple people said it was their favorite Zone Meeting! What made it a lot of fun was the skits we put together! We picked up dinner from Sister Bahr. We made visits the rest of the night. 

October 10

Today was a different day but good! We along with the Elders in our district helped the Archers move which went well besides Sister Archer saying Trent probably about 70 times that being Brother Archers first name haha! We retrieved our phone which we had left at North mountain. We met Jason Willet at Chino Banditos for dinner he brought Sarah and Juan, as well as Sister Simon taking the other elders there so we had a big Mormon party! We then went to the end of Desiree's birthday party at the Wood's house and shared a message.

October 11

Today was pretty good! Desiree, Alice, Chance, and Ashli came to church. We had early morning Stake Coordination which makes Fast Sunday rough haha! The YSA break the fast was good and then we had dinner with the Donner's which was also good! We taught Alice then visited Brother Canova before picking up Nicholson and Cross.

Week 59

September 28
Today was a pretty brutal day. Pday was fun playing volleyball and basketball with the other Elders. We had the Callahan's lesson cancel. We went to FHE then had Derik's lesson cancel so we went and grabbed my ipad charger from Sister Simons house and I talked with Elder Nicholson for a long time and he really helped me out.

September 29

Today was alright. We had a zone leader Webex meeting which was ridiculously stupid. Then we talked to Elder Stott about his concerns in his district. We had dinner with the Newells. We dedicated A part members home then had splits where I taught Desiree and Elder Young taught Jane Miller. We went and picked up my stuff for exchanges and went over to Sister Simons. I will be with Elder Nicholson in his area tomorrow which should be fun!

September 30

Today was really strange. Elder Nicholson and I spent all afternoon working on our essay questions for BYU and I was able to finish and feel confident in the answers. We had dinner with the Darnell's. We then went on two different splits for their wards which went well. When we got to the apartment to exchange back Elder Young told me that we had to go take Elder Stott to the emergency room because he crashed on his bike pretty bad. He's ok just gonna be really sore. That ordeal made it a really late night because now it's quarter to midnight so probably gonna be tired tomorrow! 

October 1

Today was really good. We had a good weekly planning session and made some good progress on our presentation on social media for the stake presidency. We had dinner with the Marcotte's which was good. Our lesson with Zack Johnson fell through. We shared #WorthOfSouls with Juan! Then we taught Jeremy and Kali! 

October 2

Today was really good! We had a good district meeting then we worked on our funny advertisement for conference which I will send! We had dinner with the Aflects. We had a lesson with Desiree which went well and then another good lesson with Judie. 

October 3
Today was really good! Conference is always a blast! We had dinner with the Gage's! We had sandwiches with our ward after priesthood session. We taught Alice afterwards which went really really well!

October 4

Today was really good! Conference was good but these General conference sessions have been my least favorite on my mission but it's still good! Don't know if the members we lined up to take our investigators to conference just brought them to their home or what but no one was at the stake center with us. We had dinner with the Gardner's which was really good. We made some visits all the night. 

Week 58

This week in review...

September 21

Today was a good Pday! We played volleyball and speed ball for zone activity which was a lot of fun! We made visits all night until we had a lesson with Derik and it was a really good lesson because he had unfortunately been involved in a rough breakup with his girlfriend that morning so we completely changed our lesson plan and it was a really good lesson!

September 22

Today was a really weird day. We moved the Bethany Home sisters which went well. We took lunch with Elder Nicholson and Cross. We worked on our #PrayInvite cutouts for a bit. We had dinner with the Thomas family which was really good! Had some delicious Crepes! We taught a returning inactive guy named Eric which was a super good lesson! We exchanged for tomorrow Elder Stott is in our area with me again! Should be a good day tomorrow!

September 23

Today was a pretty good day. Elder Stott and I had a really good time together and were able to vent to each other about a lot of different things. We worked on and completed our #prayinvite signs which turned out really awesome! We had dinner with Brother Davis. We had a good coordination meeting then a good lesson with Desiree before exchanging back!

September 24

Today was a really good day! We had a good weekly planning session. We taught Ashli finally! We had dinner with Charly Vega which was interesting! We then attended the Stake Priesthood Leadership meeting which was legit! President Griffin was the main speaker and he really motivated the wards to be a part of the work!

September 25

Happy birthday Aaron! Today was pretty good we attended both District Meetings, which went well. I enjoyed leading a discussion on the Book of Mormon. We picked up dinner from the Roatch's. We had a lesson fall through and then taught Desiree which went well then we made some visits. Got a call from Elder Stott during planning regarding the Bethany Home Sisters so hopefully everything goes ok with that situation. 

September 26

Today was a really good day! We helped Elder Nicholson and Cross with a move. We taught Alice and then attended a baptism for Sarah Stein who I interviewed a while back and Desiree came and it seemed like she really enjoyed the baptism it was really cool to be there. Sarah actually asked me to be one of the witnesses which was neat! We picked up dinner from Sister Barrier then we made visits the rest of the night we visited the Jacksons, Bishop Hughes, and the Demeester's! 

September 27

Today was a pretty good day. Desiree and Alice came to church. We had dinner with the Donner's which was really good! We made some visits and retrieved President Griffin's projector. We got some good pictures of the blood moon eclipse! Looking forward to Pday!

Week 57

Hello everyone!

September 14
Today was really good! P-day was a lot of fun playing volleyball and basketball with some of the other Elders. We had FHE, which was good and then we had a really good lesson with Derik. It was a long and tiring day and I'm nice and sore!

September 15

Bishop Hughes called us to give a blessing to his grandson, so we did that before studies. We didn't have much going on. In the afternoon, after making some visits, we ended up picking up Hermana Zemora's bike. We had dinner with the Vestbinder's, which was good! We had a lesson with Jane Miller because Sister Dutey's friend rescheduled. We made visits to end the night.

September 16

Today was a pretty good day! The afternoon was a little slower. We had a lesson with Desiree which went well! We had a really good dinner with the Adamson's! We had a really good coordination and then shared #WorthOfSouls with Jack, who leaves on his mission in about a month! Then we visited President Demeester and ended up sharing a message with them which was cool! Then we visited the Gardner's before heading in!

September 17

Today we had mission tour with Elder Montoya and Foster of the Seventy which was really good. We got back and had some weekly planning before having dinner with Cook's. We then had to coordinate rides for the companionships who didn't have cars to get to a meeting. Then we took the Elders from North Mountain home and picked up Nicholson and Cross to help us with our move tomorrow.

September 18

We woke up early and went to help the North Mountain Elders with some service. Then brought them back to help us with our move. We were getting ready and realized that the office doesn't open until ten so we went to breakfast and at ten we went to get the keys to our new apartment but apparently our housing coordinator still hadn't signed the lease. We called him and he was at mission tour for the other half of the mission so he wouldn't be able to come over till after 2. So we got everyone back home and then went to our District Meeting.

Afterwards we picked up the key and started to move which took the rest of our day running back and forth loading and unloading our truck.

September 19

This morning we had to finish bringing all the little stuff from our apartment to the new one. It's been rough not having normal studies pretty much all week. We had lunch and a lesson with Jeremy and Kali.

We had two lessons fall through in the afternoon. We had dinner with the Matthews which was very interesting but we had some good Philippino food! We met with Bishop Hughes to get him on board for Facebook which went great and we also finally got Brother Canova on board so we will present it to the Ward Council tomorrow!

September 20

Today was a pretty good day. Church was good except for the fact that both Priesthood lessons were on chastity, haha! The YSA chastity lesson was really weird because of some weird people participating. Desiree, Alice, and Ashli came to church. We had dinner with the Huffs and President Huff from Sahuaro Ranch was there again! We made visits the rest of the night before picking up Nicholson and Cross.
